Judy Beard heads up Management Centre consultancy

Judy Beard, former acting CEO and director of communications, fundraising and marketing at Macmillan Cancer Support has joined the Management Centre (=mc) to head up its management consultancy.
The company has repositioned itself from a leading UK management and training consultancy with an international client base to an international consultancy for the global not-for-profit sector with a worldwide network of consultancy offices.
A phased development strategy in 2007 has seen offices open in the US and Australia with more planned for Brazil and Mexico. Further locations are on the cards for 2008.

Beard will head up and drive development of the management consultancy arm of =mc. Joint-MD Bernard Ross said: Judy has incredible strengths in managing and driving big change processes and development at the very highest level. She will be instrumental in our international and UK expansion and a great asset for our clients.
Her first projects will include working with an INGO that wants to decentralise for globalisation, and a Scottish charity that is developing its major gifts fundraising.
