Moto donates 10,000 books to UK schools

The Moto in the Community Trust, the charitable arm of motorway service area provider Moto, has raised enough funds to donate a new fiction book for 10,000 children.
In partnership with Oxford University Press, the Trust launched the 10,000 books for 10,000 kids campaign earlier this year.
Brian Lotts, Chairman of the Trust, said: “Moto staff have worked really hard over the last few months fundraising to reach our target to purchase a new fiction book for every one of our 10,000 adopted children.”

Launched in November 2005, the Moto in the Community Trust was set up to make a difference to the communities around the 48 Moto locations in the UK. Part of its activities have included adopting 48 community schools, to focus on supporting academic, creative and sporting challenges, as well as encouraging environmental activities.
