Everyclick.com, the search engine that helps charities, has sent its live-sized blue mouse mascot out on tour around England to promote its services.

The mouse is visiting landmarks and local charities that have been raising funds through everyclick.

The Mouse Tour started at the beginning of July and will continue to the end of August. The mouse called in at the Institute of Fundraising’s National Convention, various educational conferences, and has been exploring London landmarks. Future visits include Plymouth and Edinburgh.

The rodent’s rovings meant that it escaped the recent flooding of the company’s Gloucestershire offices.

The mouse’s progress can be followed on a blog.

Since its launch in 2005, the search engine has served over 50 million searches and last month it passed the £250,000 mark in donations to charity.
