Nominations for Charity Times Awards open

Nominations for the Charity Times Awards 2007 are open. They are free to enter and are open to any UK-based registered charity, or international charity with registered UK offices.

The awards, which recognise excellence in leadership and professionalism in the sector, cover 14 categories, including five new one this year:

* Charity of the Year

* Outstanding Individual Achievement

* Best New Charity

* Charity Principal of the Year

* Fundraising Team of the Year

* Campaigning Team of the Year

* Corporate Community Involvement

* Trustee Board of the Year

* Best Charity to Work For

* Best Use of Technology

* Professional Services

* Finance Director of the Year

* Human Resources

* Social and Environmental Sustainability

Three of the new categories are for Fundraising Team, Professional Services (supplier to the sector), and corporates who have successfully partnered with a charity.

If you know of an organisation or individual you believe to be worthy of recognition, do nominate them.

The closing date for nominations is 8 June 2007.
