First Fundraising Programme Courses of 2007 Take Place

Howard Lake | 13 February 2007 | Newswire

The Fundraising Programme 2007 is well under way, including a suite of new courses around diversifying fundraising and income – such as the two-day workshop Getting Ready for Enterprise. Bringing together the strengths of two of fundraising’s leading training provides, the Directory of Social Change (‘DSC’) and the Institute of Fundraising (‘Institute’), the purpose of the Programme is to bring fundraisers the highest standards of specialised training.
The Fundraising Programme is training for fundraisers by fundraisers featuring programmes tailored to meet the needs of large and small organisations. All courses are designed to enable fundraisers to follow through from those for the novice fundraiser to more advanced courses that lead to the Institute’s Certificate in Fundraising Management, the qualification for professional fundraisers. These are The Foundation Course in Fundraising Practice, one of the most comprehensive introductions to fundraising available within Europe, and Managing Fundraising, designed for those wishing to complete the Managing Fundraising element of the Certificate in Fundraising Management.
Amanda Shepard, Director of Professional Development at the Institute of Fundraising comments: Why not raise your game in 2007 by investing in a training course from the Fundraising Programme? The Fundraising Programme offers a single point of contact for all of your training needs, allowing you to develop the practical knowledge and skills required to fundraise effectively.”
