CharityCheckout is a recently-launched online shopping mall which “donates an average of 75% of incoming money to charities who sign up to our scheme”.

The site was set up by a group of four friends, including a former supporter recruitment manager at an international development charity.

Charitycheckout is a not-for-profit organisation and its founders say that the remaining 25% is reinvested into the site. They aim to increase donation levels to 90%.

The site, like other online charity shopping malls, is designed to help people who wanted to support charities but didn’t necessarily have the money to do so.

Charities working with the site include Tommy’s, Shelter and Christian Aid.

CharityCheckout’s site includes a blog with updates on its progress.
