UK Fundraising has already covered some of the impacts of the Companies Act 2006 on charities, especially in terms of the need to include company registration numbers and registered addresses on emails and websites. Sandy Adirondack has just published her useful, as always, analysis of the Companies Act 2006 and how it affects voluntary sector companies. She has done the sector a great favour: as she points out, the Companies Act 2006 is “the longest-ever piece of legislation in the UK, with 1300 sections”.
She has also published her analysis of what has to be on company websites and email business letters from 1 January 2007.
