Dormant Accounts seeks flagship projects

Up to ‚€10 million is being made available from the Dormant Accounts Fund in 2006 to support jointly funded flagship projects. Proposals must have an overall project cost of at least ‚€1 million.

This measure is intended to provide funding for innovative initiatives addressing economic and social disadvantage, educational disadvantage or for the purposes of assisting persons with a disability.

Applicants must have already secured matching funding of at least 50% of the overall project cost from private, charitable or community sources. In addition, proposals must be well developed and be in a position to draw down funding quickly.
