STRATEGIC PARTNER FOR LEADING CHILDREN’S SAFETY EDUCATION CHARITY
CSEF
The Children’s Safety Education Foundation (CSEF) has appointed the ethical communications consultancy, Koan, as its long-term strategic partner to work with the charity on its aim to reduce the number of child victims through the provision of interactive safety education.
The North West-based charity is now entering its third year and embarking on a major growth strategy to provide more safety education to children in the UK. Chief Executive John McNamee explains: As one of the world’s most developed countries, it is inconceivable that children might come to harm just because they have not had enough information on how to stay safe. CSEF is passionate about providing the tools children and young people need to grow into confident adults.”
CSEF works in partnership with emergency services, statutory agencies and businesses to promote safety education in schools. With offices in Stoke-on-Trent, East Kilbride, Stockport, Nantwich and Burnley, the charity works with schools across the UK on all issues affecting child safety, from road and fire safety to social issues such as bullying and self esteem.
John McNamee continues: Our resources are linked into the National Curriculum and they provide a solid foundation from which children can learn about issues that directly affect them. Working with our partners, we are able to develop and deliver resources that are interactive so that when children are faced with decisions involving risk and danger, they have the information, knowledge and understanding they need to make informed choices.”
CSEF is now working with strategic partner Koan on a range of projects including media relations, brand identity, internal communications and web development.
