Taylor Patterson hit charity target for six

Howard Lake | 30 May 2006 | Newswire

TAYLOR Patterson employees, friends and family put on their dancing shoes and opened their wallets recently to raise £1,750 for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
The charity evening held at Fulwood and Broughton Cricket Club is one of a number of events the leading financial advice firm is holding this year in support of the children’s charity.
Kierson James, Taylor Patterson commercial insurance manager, was delighted with the success of the evening. She said:
We were really pleased with the response to this event which was great fun and supported a very worthy cause.”
Derian House do a fantastic job caring for terminally ill children and their families during an extremely distressing time. They receive very little official funding so we were keen to do our bit to help a local charity.”
We would like to thank the insurance companies and local businesses who donated prizes for the auction and raffle and hope our future fundraising events will be just as much fun and well supported.”
Taylor Patterson employs more than 50 staff at its Preston headquarters and additional staff in Cumbria and Sheffield.
