DSC publishes guide to Major Donor fundraising

Major Donor Fundraising - book cover

The Directory of Social Change has published “Major Donor Fundraising”, offering practical, step-by-step advice about how to go about getting – and, most importantly, keeping – major gift donors.

Author Margaret Holman, a US fundraiser with 30 years’ experience, explained why she and UK fundraiser Lucy Sargent wrote the book. “We were researching a fundraising presentation in London”, she said, “when we discovered we couldn’t find any resource material that had been published in the UK on this subject, yet there are hundreds of books available on major gift giving, and getting, in the US.”

Using case studies and real-life examples from both the UK and the US, this book shows clearly and concisely how to find and keep major donors.
