DSC offers 101 tips on good leadership

The Directory of Social Change has published “Leadership 101”, offering 101 practical tips from two experienced charity sector leaders.

The book is designed to increase confidence, help avoid common mistakes and promote a culture of success. It is aimed both at those who are new to a leadership role, and those considering stepping up to one.

Author Margaret Lloyd said: “Being in a leadership role is a lot to cope with. It means not only juggling priorities and budgets, but being judged on what you do and how you behave. The book contains simple, practical steps to avoid making all the mistakes I wish I hadn’t!”
