Regional workshops announced on statutory funding bids

Action Planning is to offer its two-day workshops on how to prepare successful applications for statutory funding on a regional basis from September 2006.
The workshop has already been run 18 times, including five in-house courses commissioned by organisations which have several key staff who need to be proficient in securing and retaining statutory funding.
The workshops, run by Action Planning in association with ACEVO and Third Sector, are presented by Derek Smith, formerly Director of Services for RNID and now lead consultant on statutory funding in Action
Planning’s Revenue Fundraising Team.

The events are being held at:
* London (The Resource Centre): 12 – 13 September and 10 – 11 October
* Birmingham (RNIB): 19 – 20 September
* Bristol (Southville Centre): 26 – 27 September
* Manchester (Breakthrough UK): 3 – 4 October
