CS GROUP SPONSORS CHARITY AWARDS 2006
CS Group has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to the charity sector and joined a prestigious list of sponsors of this year’s Charity Awards which will be held on 15th June 2005, at Battersea Park Events Arena, London.
The Charity Awards is one of the biggest and most recognised Awards events in the sector. The Charity Awards are presented annually to charities who have demonstrated exceptional achievement and good practice in leadership and management.
The main sponsors of the Charity Awards are the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) and The Times. In addition to CS Group, the sponsors of the Charity Awards include CCLA, Royal Bank of Scotland, Grant Thornton LLP, Bank of Scotland, PWC LLP, The Leadership trust, the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, and ServiceTec.
Nominations for the Charity Awards were invited under ten broad categories covering the full range of activities in the voluntary sector. In addition, an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to excellence in charities over time will be awarded with an Outstanding Achievement Award.
The nominations for the 2006 Awards opened in early December and closed in March. The shortlist will be announced in the June issue of Charity Finance after careful judging process. Sponsors, the shortlisted nominees alongside with some 800 guests will join the Charity Awards Gala Dinner on 15 June 2006, where the winners in each category will be announced and honoured.
The winning charity in the Animals and the Environment category will have their Award presented on the night by the CS Group’s Chief Operating Officer, David England.
