Vodafone and conservation group announce funding

The Vodafone Foundation and Conservation Volunteers Ireland are supporting a Nature Fund which aims to support small scale, locally based environmental projects through the proceeds raised from the recycling of mobile phones.
Eligible projects must be already commenced or about to commence, locally based and concerned with the natural and not built environment.
Applicants can be residential groups, community groups, schools, local authorities, NGO’s and individuals, and the project must be of benefit to the whole community.

The maximum grant is ‚€5,000 and the deadline is 7th April. Application forms can be downloaded from the website.
