The Prince’s Trust has appointed direct marketing agency DMS to run the youth charity’s first major individual giving campaign.

DMS will work with The Prince’s Trust on its 30th anniversary campaign, including a live ITV1 event on Saturday 20 May. TV viewers will be asked to pledge money to the charity by phoning into the ITV studios during the event. DMS will try to convert one-off donors into longer-term donors.

Guy Harris of DMS said: “This project hinges on intelligent use of data and using the huge amount of work we’ve done on welcoming and converting new donors. We’ve done a lot of research in this area so the project brief is absolutely up our street.
