Debenhams raises over £1 million for Breast Cancer Campaign

Department store Debenhams has raised over £1 million in its five year cause related marketing partnership with the Breast Cancer Campaign.

Debenhams employees and customers have raised £1,150, 212 so far for the charity and the money is funding over 30 breast cancer research projects across the UK.

* 50p from every brad sold (including all international brands)

* £5 from every exclusively designed Antoni + Alison t-shirt

* £1 from every exclusive pink umbrella

* £1 from all quilts

* 50p from all ladies swimwear

* £5 from each bottle of the Lancaster fragrance ‘Lovely Sara Jessica Parker’

* £5 from every exclusive Breast Cancer Campaign logo pink pyjamas and nightshirt

The partnership was shortlisted for a Business in the Community Cause Related Marketing Award in 2005.

Express Newspapers, official media partner for the Debenhams partnership during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, also donated £50,000 to the charity.
