Burnett Works expands with new staff

Specialist direct marketing agency Burnett Works have announced the appointment of three new members of staff.

Marc Simpson joins as Art Director, bringing 17 years’ experience in

award-winning art direction. Previously Marc has worked at Clemenger BBDO

and Leo Burnetts in Sydney, as well as at Atkinson Foreman, HJSW and Atticus

in London. His clients have ranged from Pizza Hut and KLM, to Earthwatch,

Great Ormond Street and The Rainforest Foundation in the not-for-profit

sector.
Copywriter Clare Sychrava has extensive experience on both commercial and

charity accounts, including British Gas, Amnesty International, Centrepoint

and the RSPCA. Her work for Concern and the Royal Horticultural Society has

won awards, while an Amnesty appeal she wrote helped secure the release of

Rebiya Kadeer, an unjustly imprisoned woman in China. She moves to Burnett

Works from Whitewater and has previously worked at WWAV Rapp Collins.
Account manager Becky Johnson has joined Burnett Works from design agency

Source where she worked with clients such as Lewisham Council and

Futurebuilders England. Previously Becky worked at Touchdown, a reciprocal

marketing agency, on campaigns for Mastercard, BBC World and American

Airlines. At Burnett Works Becky will be working with The Camphill Family,

Cancer Research UK and Quarriers.
