Search engine Google employs specialist information staff to help improve its search analysis. A blogger has now published a copy of the guide that these Google staff use to eradicate spam sites. As such it’s a useful tool to help improve your website’s search engine optimisation.

Henk Van Ess’s Search Bistro blog has publish a copy of the Google Spam Guide which details the techniques that the company uses to ensure spam sites, redirects, link farms and other unacceptable sites do not get included in its index.

The guide is a useful pointer to how part of Google works so could prove useful in helping ensure that your organisation’s website is optimised and not likely to get dropped from the Google index.
