Re-birth of national maternity charity

Action on Pre-Eclampsia, the national maternity charity, has announced that it will relaunch.

The relaunch will take the form of a rebranding tied in with the launch of its new and updated Web site.

The charity, which has used the same logo since its inception in 1991, wanted a rebranding which would reflect its role as the leading provider of support and information for sufferers across the world, as well as for health professionals involved in their care.

The rebranding, which includes the Action on Pre-Eclampsia logo, Web site, presentation materials and letterhead was created by chapmandesign. Creative Director, Andrew Chapman commented: “Our brief was to create a friendlier, more open and up-to-date feel to the Action on Pre Eclampsia branding. The soft lines on the graphic interpretation of the pregnant woman and the circular shape of the logo create a more feminine and approachable feel and represent the subject matter of the organisation as clearly as possible. We wanted the branding to appeal to the end user as much as to the medical establishment.”
