New director of community fundraising at Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK has announced the appointment of Mark Coote as Director of Community Fundraising.
Mark has been involved with Cancer Research UK for a number of years, initially as a volunteer and more recently as a major gifts manager. He will now be responsible for the charity’s community fundraising efforts, including activities such as Relay for Life and ‘Turn the Tables’, a popular event where politicians turn the tables on journalists. He will also oversee all volunteer activity around the UK.
Before joining the charity, Mark was the Director of Development and Marketing for the City of London School for Girls. He also has over 22 years experience of working as a teacher in secondary education.
