Pink vest sales raise £20,000 for Breat Cancer Campaign

Bingley-based clothing retailer Damart has raised £20,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign (BCC) through sales of their limited edition pink vest.

Damart donated all their profits from the sale of the vest last year, which was modelled by Natasha Kaplinsky, BBC newsreader and ‘Strictly Come Dancing Winner 2004’, to BCC and succeeded in selling over five thousand camisoles via the company’s Autumn/Winter catalogue and website.

Designed by Damart’s in-house team, the thermal vests incorporated the international pink ribbon symbol for breast awareness and Damart hope to repeat the success with a new limited edition pink vest for 2005.
