Affinitybutton.com signs up charity partners

Newly developed shopping portal Affinitybutton.com has signed up new charity partners including Children in Need, Sportability, and Animals in Distress.

AffinityButton helps raise funds for charities simply by encouraging supporters to visit participating merchants’ websites by clicking through from an AffinityButton which they download to their PC. As a result, supporters can raise funds at no cost to themselves or the beneficiary charity.

When registering, supporters get to choose which charity they would like to support. Supporters then become ‘Buttonholders’, and access the various participating merchants via their desktop AffinityButton.

Andy Kay, project manager of Affinity On Line Limited, which hosts the service explained: “it is like visiting a shopping centre from your armchair and just looking raises money for your good cause. If you find something you’re looking for to buy, that’s just a bonus, and there’s a range of offers available to Affinity Buttonholders from our vendors.”
