Gorta launch their first UK door-to-door campaign

Ireland-based third world development charity Gorta has launched its first door-to-door campaign in the UK.

Working with Fundraising Initiatives, Gorta’s campaign will operate nationwide.

Jim Coughlan, CEO at Gorta, said: “For many years Gorta has been helped by many concerned friends in the UK and now we
are particularly privileged to welcome the many new supporters arising from
this campaign.”

Gorta represent the United Nations Freedom From Hunger Campaign and promote projects as diverse as well construction, animal rearing and the provision of agricultural tools and animals along with essential training and
education programmes in order to avoid tragedy of famine and ensure communities can become self sufficient again.
