Since it launched in 2002, over £500,000 has been donated online at GiveNow.org to over 1,000 charities.

GiveNow.org, the online giving site set up by Charities Aid Foundation and The AOL Time Warner Foundation, and supported by AOL UK, has benefited charities large and small.

According to CAF, it “has particularly benefited small charities and charitable trusts which do not have the time or resources to develop their own online donation service”. In addition, it generates income for larger charities and fundraising appeals too. For exaple, Comic Relief, raised over £12,000 through GiveNow.org on 11 March 2005 as part of its Red Nose Day event.
