Media independent Total Media Charities has won the accounts of Action Medical Research, The Woodland Trust – Tree for all campaign, and Centrepoint.

Total Media Charities has been appointed to handle the direct response TV media planning, buying and analysis for Action Medical Research. This follows its appointment by the Woodland Trust and Centrepoint.

Action Medical Research’s latest campaign is ‘Touching Tiny Lives’ which will appear on DRVT soon. Highlighting the need for more research to help sick and vulnerable babies, the campaign aims to raise £3 million over the next three years.

Total Media Charities has also planned and bought, including awareness and response elements, for the Woodland Trust’s Tree for All campaign. This five-year national campaign aims to plant 12 million trees, which equates to one for every child in the UK.

Centrepoint has appointed Total Media Charities as their media agency to work with them on their TV, press and poster campaigns.

Nigel Firminger, Account Director of Total Media Charities, said: “in face of response rate pressure, charities and campaigning organisations are seeking answers to rising acquisition costs and need relevant benchmarks to achieve this… All this pressure for volume response shows no hint of abating and Total Media Charities is ideally positioned to deliver the answers based on our testing models.”

Total Media Charities, part of the Total Media Group, also looks after the media planning and buying of Concern Worldwide, Dogs Trust, Our World Our Say, and Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS).
