Wales Millennium Centre to develop new Friends fundraising programme

Wales Millennium Centre has appointed Burnett Works to help develop and promote a
Friends-type fundraising scheme.

Burnett Works has already been working with Wales Millennium Centre’s Development
office on a consultancy basis to generate and refine a series of fundraising propositions for testing with different audiences. Following this, the Centre asked it to develop recruitment and fulfilment materials for its ‘Promise’ membership scheme.

The Centre aims to raise core funds to support its work via a scheme which will also enable visitors to get more out of the Centre for themselves. The scheme is being promoted via both print and web, and offers a variety of practical benefits that will enhance
the member’s experience of the Centre, in return for an annual donation of £30.

In addition to the recruitment campaign, Burnett Works is also working on the design, copy approach and content of a regular newsletter which will give ‘Promise’ donors insight into life behind the scenes at Wales
Millennium Centre. It will also introduce them to more opportunities to support the Centre, as well as by buying tickets. The
agency has also produced designs for the scheme’s membership card and letterhead.
