DEC starts to accept AMEX donations

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) has announced that it will now accept donations via telephone and Web from American Express card holders.

Previous emergency appeals by the DEC have not accepted AMEX donations. The new development was announced on the front page of the DEC Web site today.

The DEC Tsunami Earthquake appeal now accepts nine different types of credit or debit card.
