Talkback TV are making a film for BBC2 about modern manners and are hoping to film at a black tie event or ‘posh do’ next week. If you’d like to take part, get in touch with the TV company.

Talkback TV are looking to film at a charity or sports club black tie event within the next week or so. It could be an end of season or Christmas ‘do’, although they don’t want to film a major company’s Christmas party.

They say that they want to get shots of different types of party as well as to interview guests on their opinions on modern manners. The BBC2 show they are working on will look at the way modern situations (eg mobile phones) affect our manners. It is a pilot with a view to a series and each programme will have a different theme eg. modern manners at work, on dates, in restaurants and so on.

The programme is meant to be humorous but will also provide practical information in the form of “expert advice about how to navigate your way through social scenarios and moral dilemmas.”

Conrad Chandler at Talkback TV told UK Fundraising: “we will work discretely on an informed consent basis and only with the full comfort of the host/organiser.” He added: “We are not Ibiza Uncovered!”

Since Talkback TV are London-based, it’s likely they’d prefer to film at a London event.
