Fundraising adventure travel company Charity Challenge has introduced more free online marketing tools for people who are taking part in their overseas challenge events, to help them raise even more funds.

Charity Challenge found that, as it introduced more challenges, some of its charity clients had been struggling with recruitment.

The new online tools include:

* a personalised section for fundraisers to register their charity contact details, logos, and description about their work;

* a personalised enquiry response mechanism for any supporters showing interest in a challenge;

* brandable posters for printing out, e-newsletters and e-brochures as well as a library of high resolution images to help with promotional materials.

Charity clients will also be able to view a breakdown of itheir own challenge participant profiles and against Charity Challenges’ total database, giving an overall view of the market place and how an individual charity’s supporters fit it.

The marketing tools will be available to UK and Irish registered charities by the end of this month.

Simon Albert, Director of Charity Challenge, said: “Although we do a great deal to support the fundraisers we work with, we wanted to do more. We already do all of the administration for every expedition, which means that even the smallest of charities can benefit from the dynamic and still hugely popular fundraising tool…

“Fundraisers who have taken advantage of our facilities are still reaping the benefits of this fundraising mechanism and with the range of new marketing tools in place, the opportunities are endless”.

The new developments represent a move to reducing the remaining paper elements of the event registration and promotion.

Charity Challenge offers open challenges in 30 countries, with over 200 events currently available. So far the company has helped to raise about £15 million for over 850 charities.
