Painting the village pink for Cancer Research UK Cymru

Howard Lake | 7 October 2004 | News

Instead of painting the town red, residents of Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire are painting their village pink to raise funds for Cancer Research UK Cymru.

Businesses and villagers have been inspired to put on six days of fundraising and awareness events by fellow villager Pat Field who was diagnosed with breast cancer in March.

Some businesses have painted their frontages pink while supporters are dressing in pink.
