PR agency Weber Shandwick is offering charities the chance to win pro bono communications support via a competition run by the Media Trust.

Teams from Weber Shandwick will each spend 14 days over a period of three months working with three winning charities to help them achieve a specific PR goal.

Any charitable organisation without a dedicated full time member of staff in a communications role and an annual turnover of less than £2 million is invited to apply.

The judging panel will include Colin Byrne, Chief Executive of Weber Shandwick, David Barker, Head of Communications of the British Heart Foundation, Caroline Diehl, Chief Executive of the Media Trust and Brendan May, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Weber Shandwick.

Weber Shandwick is a corporate member of the Media Trust.

The closing date for applications is 17.00 on Friday 15 October 2004.
