What has research done for fundraising recently, asks Adrian Sargeant

Leading fundraising researcher Professor Adrian Sargeant will be addressing this question in his Inaugural Lecture at the University of the West of England in September.

Professor Sargeant’s lecture will explore the latest research to be conducted in the fundraising sector. It will feature the best of the available material and suggest how fundraisers can use this knowledge to
improve their professional practice.

In particular Professor Sargeant will examine research in relation to giving behaviour, donor retention, public trust and confidence, benchmarking and the use of new media.
