New head of central fundraising at ChildLine

Paul Turner has joined children’s charity ChildLine as Head of Central Fundraising.

In his new post Paul will be co-ordinating the management of a wide portfolio of fundraising teams, including corporate partnerships. He is also looking for innovative ways for ChildLine to develop the potential of large, ticketed fundraising events as well as driving the success of fundraising activity around ChildLine’s 18th birthday celebrations.

Paul, a member of the Institute of Fundraising, has over 15 years’ experience as a fundraiser in the voluntary sector and came to ChildLine from the World Association of Girl Guides where he was Head of Fund Development. He has also worked for a number of other charities including RNIB, Cancer Research UK and the NSPCC.
