House of Fraser recruits corporate partners to support NSPCC

Howard Lake | 9 April 2004 | News

Retailer the House of Fraser has donated £40,000 to the NSPCC this year, but also managed to persuade some of its corporate partners to contribute as well.
NSPCC was the House of Fraser‘s charity of the year for 2003, and customers and staff contributed to the charity raised £40,000.
Along with employee fundraising, House of Fraser also initiated an innovative fundraising programme involving their corporate partners, vending machine companies, Eurest and Massarella Catering Group. Together they donated money from snacks purchased by House of Fraser employees.
This is a good example of how corporate fundraising need not focus only on the one company. Companies have many other corporate partners and contacts and these can be encouraged to take part as well.
