Canons choose BHF as national charity partner
Canons Group, the health and fitness company, has selected the British Heart Foundation as its national charity partner.
Fifty one Cannons Health and Fitness Clubs and nine Courtneys Leisure Centres across the UK hope to raise at least £1,000 each in the first year of the partnership. A team of staff and members is already in training for running the Flora London Marathon on behalf of the heart charity.
To kick-start the relationship Cannons and Courtneys are running a guest pass promotion throughout all weekends in April. Each of the 165,000 members can treat a friend or relative to a day of health and fitness at a discounted rate of £5, which will be donated to the BHF.

All Cannons and Courtneys centres will be actively involved in the BHF’s national campaigns, such as Heart Week in June, and will organise their own events locally. With the support of the BHF educational materials and research, they will encourage more people to enjoy the benefits of exercise and healthy eating. Additionally, employees will be encouraged to donate through payroll giving.
