Giving Campaign Wales launches free Gift Aid toolkit

The Giving Campaign Wales has launched a free Gift Aid toolkit for charities in Wales, to provide treasurers, fundraisers and charity trustees across the country with all they need to know about Gift Aid.
Gift Aid – Made Easy is a comprehensive guide, in Welsh and English, launched to help charities increase their income by up to 28%, simply by making more of Gift Aid.
Jonathan Brown, Director of The Giving Campaign Wales, said: “It’s staggering to think that Gift Aid is now worth nearly £10 million to charities across Wales, and over 6,000 organisations in the region are already benefiting from the scheme. However, there are too many organisations not yet tapping into this tax break. As an extra source of ongoing, un-restricted funding in an increasingly competitive fundraising
environment, this is money that no charity can afford to miss out on.”
