Raleigh International appoints new CEO

International youth development charity Raleigh International has appointed Christine Kent as its new Chief Executive.

Christine, 46, joins the team at Raleigh International as it enters its twentieth year of operation. As well as developing the charity’s activities and income, she will aim to expand the Raleigh Development Consultancy, the charity’s business development and commercial training arm.

Christine was formerly a Deputy Director of the UK Home Office’s Anti Social Behaviour Unit, and Chief Executive of the Broadcasting Support Services. In her capacity as a trained nurse and graduate in Physiology Christine has been actively involved in the King’s Fund, the Audit Commission and a number of regional health authorities where she has managed income generation and service delivery.
