Two senior appointments at new merged lottery body

Gerald Oppenheim and Vanessa Potter have taken on management roles at the new distribution body that will be formed from the merger of the Community Fund and the New Opportunities Fund.

Mr Oppenheim will be the new organisation’s director of planning and performance, and Ms Potter will be director of policy and external relations. Both of them work in senior positions at the currently separate lottery distribution bodies.

Their appointments follow that of Stephen Dunsmore whose appointment as chief executive of the new lottery funds distribution body was announced in November 2003.
