Researchers in Fundraising seek speakers on diversity
The Researchers in Fundraising (RIF) special interest group is looking for speakers to address its conference in February 2004 on the issues of international research, and raising funds from different cultural and religious communities.
The next RIF conference takes place on 17 February 2004 at NATFHE’s Britannia Street Conference Centre, near to King’s Cross Station in London. Some speakers have already been confirmed to address the fundraising researchers on the two key themes, but there is room for more.
While presentations from consultants won’t be ruled out, there is a clear preference, according to the group’s last membership questionnaire, for speakers from within charities, arts organisations,
universities and other non-profits, rather than from consultants.

RIF’s volunteer committee have asked their membership if, for example, they have experience in raising funds from the Jewish community? Have they done a research project focusing on a particular country or group of countries? Would they be willing to share their experiences and point other RIF members to the best research sources? Joint presentations will also be considered.
