Breast Cancer Campaign ably demonstrates the speed which online auctions offer to charities. Timing the auction with the victory parade at such short notice would have been almost impossible if it had been a physical event. The Web of course offers much more flexibility.

The charity is promoting the auction on its front page with a graphic. It also allows prospective bidders to examine the shirt in more detail with a range of thumbnail images which, when clicked, expand to offer detailed snapshots of each part of the shirt.
