Free Internet seminar on paperless direct debits

The next free Volcom seminar will feature Sue Fidler from WaterAid sharing details of the charity’s experience of online/paperless direct debits.

Volcom’s next seminar, which is free for voluntary and community groups, will take place in London on 22 April 2004.

WaterAid has recently introduced paperless direct debits with encouraging results. Sue Fidler will explain what she has done with paperless direct debits at WaterAid and how they compare to other forms of online fundraising.

Then Uday Thakkar from Smartresources will explain how the online resource for charities and companies operates.

The next speaker will be Peter Sweatman from Charity Technology Trust who will talk on e-mail marketing for charities. CTT offers a low-cost e-mail marketing tool for charities so Peter will be sharing some case studies.

The final speaker is Vicky Reeves from Chameleon Net on who will talk about de-mystifying Web content management.

The seminar will start at 3.30pm with teas, coffees and “some really tasty cakes” and finish between 6-7pm.

Places are limited to 60 by the venue size so make your booking quickly.

The seminar will be held in the Conference Room on the Mezzannine floor at Elizabeth House, York Way, just near the Shell Centre, next to Waterloo Station. The nearest tube is Waterloo.
