Gilbert Research launches second Nonprofit E-mail Survey
Michael Gilbert of Nonprofit Online News has announced the second Nonprofit E-mail Survey.
Gilbert conducted the first Nonprofit E-mail Survey in the Spring of 2001. It was one of the first large attempts to gauge how non-profits were using e-mail and planning to develop its use. Out of it grew the concept of what Gilbert termed the ‘Email Savvy Organization’.
Just over two years later, Gilbert wants to see what has changed. The new web-based survey is very short, with just eight multiple-choice questions.

The aims of this survey include:
- to get as many of those who took the original survey to do so again.
- to get an even larger sample overall.
- to compare these results to the previous ones.
The deadline for taking this survey is 15 August 2003. Subscribers to Gilbert’s free Nonprofit Online News will receive summary results of the research.
The survey is well designed. In addition to the automatic and personalised e-mail confirmation received after completing the survey, you can also revisit the survey form before the closing date and add or amend your answers before resubmitting it.
