NCH wins its first lottery award
Children’s charity NCH has won lottery funding for the first time for one of its lead projects.
NCH recently reviewed its policy on applying for lottery funding, with particular reference to the current position of the Methodist Church.
This review of policy means that NCH’s Caerphilly Children’s Centre is to be
awarded £189,354 by the Community Fund to improve services for children with disabilities and their families.

Dean Benton, Director of External Affairs, NCH said: “We’re delighted that this first application has been successful and we will take lottery funding into consideration for the provision of additional services at other NCH projects in future.
“NCH recently reviewed its policy on applying for lottery funding, with particular reference to the current position of the Methodist Church. This new funding stream is a positive way forward for NCH and its service users and is supported by a range of partnerships, including Methodist key players in Wales for this particular successful application.”
