New multi-charity nationwide running relay event launched by Skyline
Le Jo’G, which stands for Lands End from John O’Groats, is a new event from event managers Skyline which will encourage corporate teams to run the length of Britain in relays in September next year. It is open to any UK charity.
Skyline say that Le Jo’G will see over 500 participants running the 1000-mile length of Britain “raising over £100,000 in the process.”
The event is open to all UK charities who may enter as many teams as they wish. Charities should encourage their corporate supporters to field relay running teams. Skyline will be helping charities to attract people to take part on their behalf by giving them free promotional material such as information packs and colour posters.

Participants will be asked to raise £200 each to take part and must form teams of either 7 or 100 runners depending on whether they want to run just one section or the whole route. Skyline believe that the event will be particularly attractive to those corporate fundraising departments “who are looking for a new and challenging event to offer to their corporate supporters.”
The event is being underwritten by specialist insurers UnumProvident so “100% of the funds raised will go towards the benefiting charities”, say Skyline.
