Following a major donor withdrawing his pledge to give £100,000 to an Oxford college after it rejected his son’s application, university fundraisers are reportedly the subject of a scam from “a Saudi prince.” The hoaxer is apparently contacting fundraisers and asking how large a donation is needed to buy a place at a university.
