ICANN resolves Leonard-Cheshire.com dispute
Domain name authority ICANN, together with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) has resolved the dispute over the leonard-cheshire.com domain name in favour of the charity Leonard Cheshire.
Domain name authority ICANN, together with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) has resolved the dispute over the leonard-cheshire.com domain name in favour of the charity Leonard Cheshire. UK Fundraising reported on the dispute in February.
A spokesperson from Leonard Cheshire said: “We are pleased that the ICANN has ruled in our favour. The leonard-cheshire.com URL will now be the home of The Friends of Leonard Cheshire Inc, an organisation based in Washington, which works to create opportunities with disabled people throughout the Americas.”
