English threatres are to receive a major funding boost from the Arts Council to the tune of £70m spread over three years.

English threatres are to receive a major funding boost from the Arts Council to the tune of £70m spread over three years. The funding, which will start in Spring 2002, will benefit over 190 theatres and touring companies.
