.net magazine is this month featuring how good causes are using the Internet.

.net magazine this month includes a feature article on online charities by Dan Oliver. He aims to show “how you can make a real difference just by clicking your mouse.”

He features Amnesty International’s StopTorture site. Site designers Moonfish commented that 12,500 had registered shortly after the site was launched “with barely any promotion.” They say that Amnesty now expects around 5,000 responses from an appeal featured on the site.
