The Department of Health has announced the Health and Social Care Awards 2001, to recognise workers and organisations from across the public and voluntary sectors and independent social care providers in England.

The Department of Health has announced the Health and Social Care Awards 2001, to recognise workers and organisations from across the public and voluntary sectors and independent social care providers in England.

The awards bring together the Social Care Awards, the Nye Bevan Awards and the NHS Equality Awards. Awards categories are lifetime achievement, innovation, improving working lives, modernisation, improving the lives of people, and working in partnership.
